The last few years have seen the development of screening for foetal Downs’s syndrome by measurement of multiple markets in maternal blood. Although amniocentesis has been widely available for more than 40 years it can only be selectively used to diagnose the disorder because of the hazard to the foetus.

The Biorex Diagnostics Unconjugated (free) estriol kit is intended for use in the quantitative estimation of Unconjugated (free) estriol in Human serum or plasma by a Microplate Enzyme Immunoassay.
