The Biorex Diagnostics Chloride assay is intended for use in the quantitative determination of Chloride in Serum or Plasma. The Chloride Assay is used to detect electrolyte imbalances of Chloride within the blood for the diagnosis of certain conditions.

The rate of formation of the complex is directly proportional to the chloride concentration in the sample.
